Mechanical Design Engineer - Aberdeen, NC

Our client is in search of a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join their dynamic team at a small, family-owned manufacturing company in Aberdeen, North Carolina. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and enhancement of specialized technological solutions. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute your expertise in sheet metal processes and leverage SolidWorks for effective design and engineering tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Expertise in Sheet Metal Processes: Demonstrate proven experience and proficiency in sheet metal processes to ensure the efficient and accurate design of components for specialized technological solutions.
• SolidWorks Proficiency: Utilize a strong command of SolidWorks for effective design, modeling, and engineering tasks. Your proficiency in SolidWorks will be instrumental in bringing innovative solutions to life.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience working in a fast-paced and small family-owned manufacturing setting is essential.
• Ability to thrive in dynamic work environments, adapting quickly to changing project requirements.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• 4-year degree in a relevant field OR at least 5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical engineering and design.
