This well-known company is searching for an Inside Broker to develop, manage and sustain profitable business by providing high level technical expertise and customer service in-house to join the team. 

You will:

• focus on maintaining a profitable book of business by building relationships with internal and external stakeholders in the E&S, admitted and non-admitted carriers both domestically along with the Llyod’s markets as well and responsible for managing a Broker’s book of business in-house.
• Manage and evaluate insurance brokers submissions; identifies exposures and coverage required.
• Assist Broker in managing the service and market placement of Broker's portfolio of commercial insurance accounts.
• Maintain cooperative and dependable relationships with retail agencies and brokerages; may make marketing calls to the agencies/brokerages on behalf of the Broker.
• Communicate and negotiate with insurance markets and retail brokers.
• Identify appropriate markets to request quotes from based on coverage requirements.
•  Follow through with market placements.
• Create submissions to insurance market selections.
• Evaluate quotes and contract provisions offered by insurance markets.
• Negotiate market placement of new and/or renewal business as directed by Broker; bind orders.
• Work to help ensure all documents are attached and maintained for the appropriate policy/account.

PREFERRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Broad knowledge of commercial insurance coverages with insurance carriers and other markets.
