We’re seeking a Commercial Underwriter to join a super-regional insurance carrier that’s A-rated by AM Best and poised for growth and profitability. This is a relatively flat organization with minimal layers of bureaucracy, where everyone has visibility and a direct line of communication with senior leadership.
The Commercial Underwriter will have a solid workers’ compensation background, coupled with stellar underwriting acumen and the ability to work cross-functionally with claims, marketing, and loss control. They will be focused primarily on eight key states, including AR, OK, KS, MO, IL, IA, NE, and CO.
The ideal candidate will be someone who values common-sense underwriting and business practices over the corporate rules and bureaucratic red tape used by large companies.
