A St. Louis manufacturing company that is at a pivotal point of growth is seeking an AP Specialist to join their team. They are family-owned and have been in business for over 30 years. Good benefits, generous employee contribution, and no vested interest period for 401k.
What You’ll Do:
- Handle invoice processing, coding, and 3-way matching to ensure accuracy.
- Manage small package and LTL freight invoices, reconciling discrepancies and filing claims when needed.
- Process vendor payments via checks, ACH, and online portals.
- Reconcile statements, investigate discrepancies, and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and confidentiality standards.
- Support additional tasks as you grow into the role.
Required Experience:
- Ability to manage freight invoices and claims.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience in accounting, accounts payable, or financial data analysis.
- Proficiency in Excel and MS Word.
- Accounting knowledge and data entry skills
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
